Jacksonville Art Glass originated in Chicago, Illinois. Jacksonville Art Glass was created when John Krol moved his studio from Chicago to Jacksonville, Illinois. In less than a decade we have achieved excellent growth through excellent service and craftsmanship. Church restoration of amazing stained glass and art glass has been the focus of this art glass studio from traditional art glass to contemporary stained glass.
Central Illinois has had an immediate need for preservation and conservation of old stained glass which is often nearing or surpassing one hundred years of age. Preservation and conservation in church window repair need constant education. Through our membership in the International Institute of Historic and Artistic Works and the British Society of Master Glass Painters, we continue to advance our skills in art glass and stained glass.
Jacksonville Art Glass has become one of the only full service stained glass studios south of Chicago in Illinois. Central Illinois continues to be our focus, but art glass restoration will take us to Missouri, Indiana and Iowa. However, new commissions are shipped anywhere.
