Glass Fusing
Glass fusing is an exciting process that adds another tool in design. Whether for church windows or secular design, glass can be layered and fused for dramatic effects.
This image to the right was obtained by fusing two full sheets of glass together, blue on top of clear. After the glass was fused, the blue glass was etched away. There is flashed glass that serves the same purpose, but the thickness of the fused process adds to the unique character of the design and creates a dimension not attainable with flashed glass.
