Delicate Stained Glass Restoration
The Transfiguration Window which faces west was designed by Goodhue, an architect from the firm of Cram, Goodhue and Ferguson. The problem of this restoration is one of age. The perimeter stone putty was failing and was becoming a detriment to the support of the stained glass.
Jacksonville Art Glass carefully scraped the putty and replaced with new. The "T" bar sections were also puttied. Since we make our own putty we were able to match the colors to the stone and the panels. Some additional securing had to be accomplished.
