Praise Angel Art Glass Window in Reid Memorial Library headlines the stained glass restoration project

48 total windows targeted for stained glass restoration throughout Caldwell, Reid, Fobes and Baldwin.

May 15, 2012 marked the beginning of this historic stained glass restoration at Lewis and Clark Community College in Godfrey, Illinois. We feel very fortunate and honored to be awarded this art glass project. The 100+ year old stained glass will be extracted from their openings and returned to our studio in Jacksonville, Illinois for restoration.  Our artisans will then delicately dissassemble and clean each piece of glass by hand.  New stained glass restoration quality lead came, new cement and new re-bar will be added to complete the art glass restoration process.  The stained glass project is scheduled for completion August 15, 2012 and the transfomation will be awesome!  Check back here often for pictoral updates of our progress.
